Matt joined the B&B Demolition team in March of 2017 in the role of Operations Manager. Matt brings with him 15 years of Commercial and Industrial Construction experience. Matt has always been very resourceful, adaptable and dependable. His outstanding qualities continue to help lead B&B on the path of continues growth.
Matt is an Alberta man and is not a stranger to taking part in meaningful community events, being an organizer and player in Edmonton's World's Longest Hockey Game & World's Longest Baseball Games. When the fast pace of Alberta Construction isn't the focus you will find Matt and his young family at the lake entertaining friends.
Jamie joined the B&B Demolition team in October 2016 in a Business Development role. Jamie's love for our city took her on a path to join the Construction Industry 17 years ago. She joins the B&B Demolition team with great enthusiasm. Jamie thrives on helping Owners and Contractors with their demolition requirements to make way for new projects to continue Edmonton's growth!
Jamie has grown up in Edmonton, loving our festival city and being very involved in school and community sports, playing and watching! Cheering for the Oilers or the Eskimos or not cheering at all!
Ben started at B&B Demolition in 2001. He has dedicated himself to grow within the company and has held many positions before becoming a full time estimator. His experience in the field and in safety enables Ben to estimate projects with a unique understanding of all the details of the job. Ben is always striving to achieve excellence in the industry and satisfy his customers. Ben is an active member of the Edmonton Executive Association.
Ben enjoys watching sports and spending time with his family. If he is not at the local pub watching a game and socializing he might be in a chair getting a new tattoo.
Abatement Projects Manager
Chris joined the B&B Demolition team in 2017 as a Project Manager and the head of Hazardous Materials Removal. Chris brings with him 14 years of experience in hazardous materials removal and emergency response management. He enjoys finding new and innovative ways to safely remove hazardous materials in a cost effective manner for clients.
Chris grew up in the Comox Valley splitting his time between playing sports and working with community charities. Chris was actively involved in his motherâ€™s local charity, You Are Not Alone (YANA), helping local families needing to travel in order to access medical treatment for their children. Today, Chris spends time with his family and friends in Edmonton, frequently traveling back to the Valley. Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, going to hockey games and watching wrestling.
Rian joined the team in 2016 after moving with his wife to Canada from South Africa. Rian brings with him a wealth of knowledge from numerous degrees and demolition experience.
Rian's favorite song is "Africa" by Toto. He enjoys experiencing the many different Canadian cultures and taking in various festivals that come to Edmonton.
George joined the B&B team in November 2016 with 5 years' experience in construction estimating. He is originally from South Korea, bringing with him a different point of view to projects and processes allowing B&B to be multi-cultural. He is also a certified associate in project management (CAPM). His military background allows him to give many positive aspects to B&B and clients. He is punctual, loyal, and well-organized.
George enjoys playing soccer and basketball in his free time, and spending time with his small family. You can find him in the mountains on weekends in the summer since he goes hiking almost every weekends with his family and his little Yorkie.
Aaron is proud to join the B&B team from within the demolition industry. Bringing over 7 years of construction experience to the table, Aaron looks to use his broad experiences to meet the expectations of clients and excel in his position.
Aaron grew up in Southern Ontario, moving to Edmonton in 2014. Aaron enjoys spending his time with friends and family , making music, getting in a good game of basketball, or relaxing amongst the beauty of the Rockies (when itâ€™s warm enough).

Lachlan joined the B&B team in September 2015, bringing with her a vast amount of knowledge in dispatch for the transportation industry. Her positive and determined attitude, coupled with her years of experience, make her the perfect fit for one of B&B's busiest roles.
When Lachlan's not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favourite drinks include a coffee at work and a scotch with friends on the weekend.

John enjoys time with family and friends in his free time. John also enjoys the outdoors riding his quad, fishing and traveling.
Derek Hodgson, NCSO
Human Resources / Safety Manager
Derek received his Safety Officer designation with the Alberta Construction Safety Association in 2001 while working in the oilsands projects of Fort McMurray. Since then he has gained experience working in various industries across western Canada and has become a valuable member of the B&B team.
Derek enjoys playing his guitar to his favourite band Volbeat and is a big fan of the Star Wars films. In the summer months Derek enjoys sitting around a fire and socializing with friends and family.
John Bigelow, NCSO
John was born in a small northern Ontario town called Kirkland Lake On. He wonâ€™t say what year but it was way before the town got colour TV and more than 3 TV Channels. Kirkland Lake was known as a hockey and skiing mecca of which he did both...rather poorly. At the ripe old age of 17 he decided that he should join the Canadian Armed Forces. July 17th 1980 he swore an oath to God, Queen and Country and was shipped off to Cornwallis NS for basic training. After 29 years of Loyal Service to both Regular and reserve force, John made the decision to change careers and become a Safety Officer.
